A friend of mine wrote one day about me “she starts blogs in her sleep”. Also if that is not completely true, as it takes a lot of work to set a new blog up, it was a no-brainer for me to start another blog together with this web site.
Actually I had planned to do a web site about the Camino to Compostela since quite a while and as I decided that I will walk the Camino de Santiago again, I knew it was the best moment to do it.
25.10.1999 was the day I started my first camino from Roncesvalles, son I decided that having spend most of the last Holy Year (2004) working as a hospitalera in different pilgrims hostels on the Camino Frances, next Holy Year (2010) would see me walking again! So far the plan is to start the same day from Roncesvalles as the first time. Under the blog category “Preparation” you can follow me as I make my equipment decisions and try to get fit again.
I am also very tempted to make this camino a charity walk, but have to figure out the details yet! So, stay tuned and !Buen Camino! Wherever you are
